A.        PLANNING

1.      =             Collect the required data from the Covered Facilities and the General Reporting Facilit= ies in the C/WLEPD.

2.     &nb= sp;   Revise existing information and add information as necessary for inclusion in the C/WLEPC 2007 Emergency Response Plan Revision (ERPR).

3.     &nb= sp;   Review locations where weather alert radios have already been install, and take appropriate action to resolve any mechanical or use training problems.

4.     &nb= sp;   Continue to acquire and install additional weather alert radios in logical public gathering facilities in the C/WLEPD in keeping with the C/WLEPC Early Warni= ng Signal Plan.

5.     &nb= sp;   Continue to take appropriate steps to resolve location and operational problems of existing early warning signal sirens.

6.   <= /span>      Add or rep= lace a minimum of one early warning signal siren in the C/WLEPD in keeping        =             &nb= sp; 

        =     with the C/WLEPC Early Warning Signal Plan for outside emergency notification.

7.   &= nbsp;     Continue research and securing the revenue for, through grant awards and/or other sources, the establishment of a Telephone Ringdown System for inside emerge= ncy notification.

8.  &n= bsp;      Continue to work with the USCG and the Ohio River adjacent LEPCs on the planning for= the facilitation of interstate emergency planning, communications, and response= for emergencies impacting two or all three states, especially on the Ohio River= .

9.  &n= bsp;      Apply for WVSERC 2006 Planning Grant.

 

B.        DRILLING/INTERNAL EDUCATION

1.      =             Hold a mini= mum of one table top drill.

2.         Hold a minimum of one functional drill.

3.         Hold a minimum of one full scale drill.

4.     &nb= sp;   Participate in one or more emergency related courses, classes, workshops, seminars, etc, offered by the WVSERC, USEPA, USDHS, or other relevant organization.

 

C.        PUBLIC EDUCATION

1.      =             Hold one or= more orientation seminar(s) on the C/WLEPC and Emergency Management for relevant county and municipal elected officials within the C/WLEPD.

2.      =             Hold one ta= bletop orientation presentations for members of the news media and for the general public.

3.      =             Work with t= he telephone directory publishers to introduce or reintroduce the “Know = What To Do in Case of an Emergency” information that is included in the 20= 06 C/WWLEPC Emergency Response Plan Revision.
