By prior agreement among the Cities of Huntington, Barboursville and Milton and Cabell County, the initial response will be ma= de by on‑duty officers to the location of the emergency regardless of ju= risdictional locale.

Officers initially as=

outside their jurisdiction will be promptly relieved as soon as officers wi=
thin
that jurisdiction become available.

be assigned by the Consolidated Communication Emergency Response Center bas=
ed
on available on‑duty officers in Cabell County regardless of agency. =
It
will be the responsibility of the senior law enforcement officer of the
jurisdiction in which the emergency occurs to relieve all outside agency

The enclosed map breaks down the City of Huntington = and Cabell County into (11) eleven zones, (Numbers 1 through 11). Each Zone is broken down into Areas, based upon borders determined by major roads, munic= ipal corporate limits, railroads, and rivers. Zone Numbers 1 through 7 are within the corporate limits of Huntington. Zone Numbers 8 through 15 are in the remainder of Cabell County.

This is a small Area and traffic diversion patterns will be determined by t=

impact on this Area by the particular emergency.

Limits. Westbound traffic must cross the Guyandotte River at Fifth Avenue,
Third Avenue or the Nickel Plant Bridge to exit this Area. If this entire A=

must be closed, it will be necessary to divert traffic North on WV 2 to Lit=

Seven Mile Road, then South to US 60 East. It will be necessary to enlist t=

assistance of the Cabell County Sheriff's Department to effect this diversi=
